Registered Manager Vacancy

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of our New care facility. This vital role involves ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering a positive environment for service users and staff alike. As a Registered Manager, you will be the driving force behind delivering exceptional Learning Disability Care services, including Day Care and Community Supported living and floating support. Your leadership will inspire teams to excel while maintaining a compassionate and person-centred approach. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the care facility, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, legal standards, and organizational policies.
  • Oversee staff recruitment, training, supervision, and performance management to build a motivated and skilled team.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans for service users, including medication administration, Learning Disability care strategies.
  • Coordinate with healthcare professionals for care management, new referrals and other health services.
  • Monitor service user care quality through audits, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to service user records, incident reports, shift logs, and regulatory compliance reports.
  • Foster a welcoming environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being for residents with diverse needs such as Community Supported living care requirements.

Skills

  • Proven experience in assisted living or other care environments with a strong understanding of Learning Disability and Autism care principles.
  • Extensive supervisory experience managing multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or social services settings.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology relevant to patient assessment and medication administration.
  • Familiarity with managing individuals with disabilities or special needs across various age groups including school transition.
  • Experience working in Residential or other care settings with a focus on compassionate person-centred care.
  • Excellent leadership abilities combined with organisational skills to oversee operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of service user safety and satisfaction.
